Newsflash

Here in the West it is hard for us to imagine life without electricity.

Some new lighting simulations of medieval houses, shops and other buildings are online here. While they do give a good impression it is quite likely that these movies will be tweaked In the near future so they are even more accurate.

Missing Images PDF Print E-mail

Image

For reasons I've yet to confirm lots of images on this site sometimes go missing. Even the media managers thumbnails for many of them do not show up, but the pictures themselves are there. Honestly!

I think it mostly affects people using the full Norton Internet Security Suite. As far as I know everyone else can see them. If you can't, or if you know why they aren't showing up for some people, I would appreciate it very much if you let me know by email or by the web form under 'Contact Us '. Good would be to include a screenshot or maybe the problematic URL or article title.  By adding this site to your trusted list all the images should show up.

With thanks

Some people using AOL and Norton Internet Security or Personal Firewall cannot see all the images even when they are on the server. This looks like the reason

http://www.easyprints.com/site/brokenimages_help.asp

"Firewall and security software are known for interfering with images on web sites.
If you have Norton Personal Firewall Or Norton Internet Security software, you need to modify the Privacy setting so you can see the images.
Find the options for "Privacy control" and uncheck "Enable Browser Privacy". Other firewall programs may have similar settings.
Or you may need to add our web site in to the "trusted" sites of the software. See your software manual or web site for instructions on how to do this."

Why it only hides some images and not others in the same folder I'm yet to discover.
